October 21, 2006 - Golden Cougar Rummage Sale Consultants begin their journey to revolutionize the rummage sale industry.

It was an emotional day for us on Saturday.  We pioneered into the world of rummage sale consulting.  You know some people dreamed or dreamt or dreamted of being a pioneer in the world of medicine, or space technology, or business entrepreneuaralism,or firefighting when they were a kid, well we didn't, we thought we would go where no man has gone before...into the vast wide open space known as rummage sale consultation.  We also knew we would never be grammar teachers as you can see from the previous sentence.

The opening ceremony was...well, it went about as well as any rummage sale opening ceremony would be expected to go.  The fireworks display was, well it was sparkers that's what it was.  Sparklers...people running around with sparklers.  The traditional rummage sale opening ceremony pinate' was popular as always.  The autographed pumpkin and Ten Commandments were featured items that brought in more money than expected. 

Overall, the day went pretty well.  Despite the gloomy weather, the customer turnout and sales volume were healthy.  Golden Cougar would like to extend a big ol' thank you roar to all of those who attended the rummage sale.  Keep your ears open and listen for the next roar of the cougar, it may be coming to a rummage sale near you.
